Expected more from the wood handles. The scales I got feel like they got forced machined into a knot, leaving it an uneven surface with a few splinters on the top side of the guard I had to polish off, and still it feels like the wood fibers have been broken so it isn't a smooth surface. The blade however has perfect bevel symmetry and comes very sharp out of the box. This was supposed to be more of a collector's piece and I expected a more beautiful wood grain with a slightly better finish. The sheath feels like it has been used, since the button snap shows use of opening and closing and the glued top part of it is also stretched and a bit unglued, on top of 2 minor scratches. Other than that I like the knife
